The fact is we need to be able to question anything.
Even if God is God and there is nothing negotiable about it, we still need permission and opportunities to explore and discover what that means. Here's our take on it all. Questions, even doubts, are not bad. They certainly aren't the opposite of faith. The fact is that everyone has them, and if we let them accumulate, undealt with, then they do trip us up. But if we take them on, and explore them openly and honestly they give our faith strength and integrity.
Please bring your doubts, questons, skeptism and open mind. We'll explore the questions together.

Jacob's Well at Minnehaha Falls again - Sunday, July 26
Minnehaha Falls
Since Jacob's Well isn't a building we have, but people who gather to be church, it only makes sense to gather where it makes the most sense. One of those places is Minnehaha Falls. We will gather there twice this summer (6/21 & 7/26). Come and bring a friend. Stay for the picnic afterward. Everyone is welcome!

At some point it always comes down to this: things need to matter. My life needs to matter, what I do needs to matter, where the world is headed needs to matter.
Maybe everything just being makes sense rationally, but beyond our heads it just doesn't work. We are going to spend the next five weeks drilling down on what might matter and why. We will be working through the book of Ephesians to see what sense it makes and where it still begs questions. Big questions. And that's all right because a better question beats an easy answer anyday. See you next Sunday because... it matters. Remember?

Next Blood Drive Sunday July 26 at Minneahaha Falls
Jacob's Well blood drives have provided enough blood to aid more than 120 people. That is a gift of life. If you've never donated blood - you are in good company. We've had many first time donors who have realized it's not so bad. Yay! We have another opportunity coming up.
