Jacob's Well

Thanks so much to everyone who, responding to where God is leading, worked so hard to get our first gathering off the ground at Longfellow today. Wow. What a great day. Just over a hundred people showed up and the Anne Sullivan School worked just great. Part of what was so amazing was how the right people showed up at the right time over the last few weeks to make everything happen. Along with people who have been part of Jacob's Well for 6 months to a year or two, a number of brand new people to the community appeared on the scene and definitely found their place.

It was a great day. Thanks to all who gathered at Field too, their involvement, passion and work were equally essential to what happened today at Longfellow - it takes all of us. Thanks to all our partners as well: the Epiphancy Legacy Foundation and the Evangelical Outreach & Congregational Ministry (I know that's a mouthful) arm of the ELCA for their support in this extension of the Jacob's Well mission.

The power of God at work within us, can accomplish abundantly far more than we can ask or imagine.  Ephesians 3.20
