Several Jacob's Wellers served as a part of Project Homeless Connect about six mos. ago. Here is information for the upcoming Project Homeless Connect on Dec. 8. If you haven't done this before, there is a training -- if you have served, you don't have to train, but can do a refresh.

Wanted to provide a quick update on the service to celebrate the life of Kelly Schmidt. Overall we are in good shape: could use a pot or two more of beans and additional help. If you can bring beans or help tomorrow, please bring to/come to Bethel. Set up will begin at 9:30 a.m. and serving lunch will start just after the service -- then clean-up following the luncheon.

Anyone interested in a casual, yet brisk walk around Lake Nokomis, please meet at the Nokomis Community Center this evening at 6:30 p.m. We'll be done before 7:30 p.m. It's looking to be a beautiful evening!

Hey all...one last reminder that this Sat. (Apr. 19) is the Mpls. Earth Day Clean Up around Minneapolis - and Jacobs Well is coordinating the efforts for Minnehaha Falls Park. Wellers, Steph, Garrett and Noah Fuerniss, will be setting up a couple of registration tables/setting up signs/getting gear ready at 8:30 if you want to help out. The youth will be hosting a tent with water and snacks and ArtStart Education will be leading a project for parents and kids.
