The Devil Came on Horseback

If you've seen The Devil Came on Horseback, you know why I'm posting this entry. This movie is a terrifying look at genocide in Darfur, Sudan. At the Movies... GTWO this weekend for Jacob's Well

Change in Coffee Plans... The More the Merrier!

Change in plans...  The more the merrier, right? Let's all meet, both Sat. and Sun., at the Jacob's Well office at 9 a.m. From there, we'll head outside and "work the corner" so to speak for Sovereign Grounds and Turtle Bread as a larger group. Depending on the turnout we can have some folks hit other coffee shops, too. Just sounds like more fun (and more effective) if we can get a bigger group! So feel free to invite along a friend! Should be great weather!!!

Coffee Anyone?

Help Get the Word Out about Jacob's Well this weekend; treat someone to a fresh cup of coffee and a little information on Jacob's Well. It takes only an hour (9 a.m. - 10 a.m.) and you have several coffee shops to choose from. Riverview and Sovereign Grounds even have playrooms so you can make it a family outing. And who knows, you just might get a cup of coffee out of the deal yourself!
