I will preface this entry with the fact that I am extremely new to Jacob's Well, but hope that my family and I can find a home here.
I thought the Urban Hub was awesome! Great message about the many faces of poverty. It really made me think about my own experiences.
On Sunday our theme was "reFresh." The Sabbath, the quiet, the pause that helps us recenter our lives, that reminds us to "be still and know that i am God."
We had Dove chocolates in a basket for people after the service and my daughter comes up to me with the wrapper from her chocolate which had this message on it. If you can't read the wrapper, click on it and see a larger version - I'm not telling what it says...
