The Glamorous Life of a JW "Roadie"
"Roadies" - Be part of the band, even if you can't play an instrument (or sing), by helping with set up ("making") and/or tear down ("breaking").
Every major production has many volunteers who work behind the scenes to make things happen...
Each and every Sunday, dozens of people gather at Field Middle School to unload a van and a trailer, filled with the building blocks that are used to create the environmental elements that you see in our space. We have a lot of music equipment (PA, stands, roller-trunks, etc) that need to be set up as a part of the environment as well.
We are in need of some "roadies" to help us "make" (unload the van, move equipment into the commons area and help set up) and/or "break" the stage (unplug and wrap up cable, breakdown mic stands, pack everything up in the blue roller-cases and load them into the trailer).
You don't need to be a musician. You don't need to be terribly skilled. You just need to be willing to learn, with an average work-ethic. It's simple! Anyone can do it. You can be a part of the glitz and glamour that is being a "roadie":)
This is a very important task, and we need a few people to take this on and get it done. If you're interested, please contact Nate
