The Thanksgivng dishes might still be dirty (or not even used yet!) when you read this...but it's time to think about getting Christmas going on the wonderful corner of 48th St & Chicago Ave where our office is. Come help deck the walls of our office and the streets on our block next week!
Come either or both of these days next week...bring a friend, bring your group, come and make a new friend.

NOTE! If you are reading this before 1 pm on Thanksgiving - come help serve the free meal offered at Pepitos. It's put on by a dedicated group of core volunteers who maintain a very low profile. Not a promotional event for Pepitos or anyone. Just a way to be connected with each other and share. Read more about it here...but I think you can just go and offer to help from 1-3.

AND...you'll get to see my new haircut if you come...just kidding, I didn't get a new haircut:) Fooled you, hehe. I hope that some of you are able to come and help us celebrate the coming of Christmas. I do think that it is a wonderful time to experience community. Thank you.
