My daughter is up at Itasca State Park for the month on a research
project from college. She also just got a great digital SLR. This
photo of hoar frost on a red pine is the miracle of beautiful that nature
creates so easily covering miles and miles. And seems to think the effort is so easy that it lets the warmth of morning's sun melt it all away whether it was seen and appreciated or not.
Then out of the storm the Lord spoke to Job. "Who are you to question my wisdom with your ignorant, empty words? Now stand up straight and answer the questions I ask you. Were you there when I made the world? If you know so much, tell me about it.
Does either the rain or the dew have a father? Who is the mother of the ice and the hoarfrost, which turn the waters to stone and freeze the face of the sea?"
Job 38.1-4, 28-30 TEV
